Winter Special- Expired
Why you need to perform annual service
Even here in Southern California we have a boating season. It is important to consider Winterizing with a Critical Care Annual Service to keep your boat in top shape for the next season.
Critical Care Annual Service
This boating season we have seen too many boats that did not have the most critical things done which ended up costing the customer about two to three times more money than it should have. What should have cost around five hundred dollars ended up costing nine to eighteen hundred dollars, even more.
We recommend critical care annual service to include the following.
Here is what we service during our Critical Care Annual Service.
Critical Care Includes
- All fluids changed.
- Oil filter and water separating filter changed.
- Trim and tilt system checked for leaks and topped off.
- Drive removed and all bellows checked for leaks (very Critical).
- Gimbal bearing and drive line serviced.
- Pressure check drive for leaking seals (water and drive oil don't mix).
- Check water pump out put.*
- Check engine / drive alignment and adjust if necessary.
- Check engine instruments and navigation lights.
- Check blower and bilge pump for proper operation.
- Check trailer lights and lube Bearing Buddy zerks.
- Check brake actuator for proper fluid level.
